A mama's heart...

Things are in full swing around here...ordered the last of our furniture for our new house...ordered new flooring for the house...working on getting a painter lined up...it's coming along!

Stephani Sparkles is in full swing!  I am cleaning  a lot of evenings after work til school is out and I can move my clients to days.  I told my principal last week I was not coming back.  He was disappointed, but it saved him the trouble of moving one of our sped teachers to another school, so it was a relief at the same time.  I am excited to be running my cleaning business again and home with monkey man and T more!

Monkey man is almost fully potty trained.  We found some incentives he really wanted and he went crazy training!  It's an exciting thing in this  house!

Lots of friends are having babies...not this house though!  We are very content with monkey man and want to continue to love on him for awhile.  We are praying about fostering to adopt, but it's all in God's timing and not ours.

Mocha will soon have a backyard, and I am thankful for that.  I know she misses her big yard to run in!

We visited Louisiana over spring break, and while it was good to see friends, each time God shows me more and more why He has us in Texas.  We are finally putting down roots with this house and God has brought some amazing new friends into our lives that have been such a blessing.  I am part of our care and concern team at church, so I have been able to help a family with 5 kids who are in desperate need of an extra hand on Wednesday evenings, so that has been fun and a blessing to me and them.  We love our new church and are getting plugged in.  I will be attending the women's retreat the first weekend in May, and I am looking forward to getting to know more Godly women who can help me grow.

I am feeling at peace finally about being in Texas.  It's been a rough transition for me leaving the familiar behind but I am starting to get over that hump now.

I had a busy weekend with 3 cleans, so today is church and family time.

My boys have been such a huge support as I start my business, and I could not be more thankful!

Until later...

Stephani
