Yes friends, we are finally under contract on a house in Frisco, Texas! After going through around 50 homes, losing out about 10 times to higher bids, we finally got a house!
We really have felt God's hand in this , and we really know this is a God thing for a few reasons: the house hit the market and we wanted to see it but were told they would have at least 4 offers that day- a few days later we inquired again and were told 2 offers- saw it anyway and put in an offer only to find out we were their first offer- they countered and we accepted- just pending inspection- right now nothing in our price range is on the market- the demand here for homes is extremely high and people are just not selling much. Most houses here go anywhere from 5-20,000 over asking price. So I do know at least that we will see our money back whenever we do sell. It's small, but it is our transition home and is already an upgrade from our Louisiana home as it has a 3rd bedroom, a door to the backyard (in Louisiana we had to walk out the front door and around to back yard), and a two car garage! All upgrades for us! It does need some work but nothing we can't handle.
And here it is...our precious abode we plan to fill with lots of love and memories!
