Friday, we got the call every parent dreads- monkey had done something to his arm at the sitters and needed to go to the ER immediately. T was closest to her house, do he rushed over and took him to children's hospital which is much like a Riley hospital only they deal with anything child related. When the dr first saw him he thought it was much worse. After x raying his chest, shoulder, and arm it was much better than he thought- although he still predicted surgery and an overnight stay- he said he would not know more until they sedated him and tried to pop the bones back in place under a live x-Ray. So after a 20 grueling 20 min wait, thankfully everything went well and the bone popped in like it should and he was able to cast it and send is home. Poor little monkey was a trooper and never once cried at the hospital and has been resting a ton since!
My awesome hubby ran by home after I got to the hospital and brought back his comfort toys!
